Compared to previous designs, the profile depth was increased by almost 50 % which means that the side and shoulder sections are almost completely pressed.
Self adapting dummy mould
The sturdy dummy moulds are heated from inside. The dummy mould automatically adapts itself - inside out - to the fitted article with its lateral air bellows, without the use of additional bars, cords or other actuating elements. Even extremely wide articles are perfectly tensioned, and where extremely small articles are processed, the air bellows retract as far as is required without leaving bulges which would entail marks on the pressed articles.

The dummy mould is connected to an air bellows which adapts to each contour in a cut-conforming manner. The surface of the cuff holders required for pressing dress shirts is sufficient to grip and hold each cuff. The control is electro-pneumatically by means of the foot switch.
Dummy mould height adjustment
The fact that the dummy moulds allow height adjustment, results in an ergonomically perfect operator body position for pulling on and for the subsequent fine positioning of the sleeves. This height adjustment also ensures that no mis-pressing can occur for instance when very long and very short sleeves are pressed, and that the pressing effect remains limited to the individual sleeve without pressing the armpit and shoulder sections.

The collar-lapel press is fitted with a large dimensioned, curved pressing table permitting pressing both lapels as well as cuffs in one operating step. Upon request, we can supply a temperature controlled press time limiter which avoids overheating and shrinkage of temperature sensitive collars.
